On June 23, 2025, officers from the Auburn Police Department, working with Syracuse Police, arrested Sadiq Bonner-Judge at 413 Bradley Street in Syracuse, New York. Bonner-Judge was the subject of a bench warrant issued by the Cayuga County Court after he failed to appear for sentencing related to incidents that occurred in 2020 and 2021. He had been a fugitive for nearly four years following his failure to appear for sentencing on multiple high-level violent felony charges.

The arrest came after the Auburn Police Department’s Gun Involved Violence Elimination (G.I.V.E.) Unit received a tip about his location in Syracuse. After conducting interviews and reviewing intelligence, the G.I.V.E. officers confirmed the information was credible. When officers moved in on the location on June 23, 2025, Bonner-Judge attempted to flee through the back of the residence. He was apprehended after a brief foot chase and taken into custody.

Bonner-Judge has been charged with second-degree robbery and first-degree attempted robbery, both class C felonies. He is now being held pending arraignment.
