RailRiders Host Mets with Fiesta and Fireworks
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders will host the Syracuse Mets in Moosic, Pennsylvania. The game will feature Copa de la Diversión on Soccer Night, and the first 1,500 fans arriving at 5 p.m. will receive a Vejigantes Soccer Jersey. Fans can also enjoy a Spicy Goal-Rita drink feature during the game. After the game, a post-game fireworks display will be set to Latin music.
The event will be broadcast on Fuzz 96.1 and can be watched on Bally Sports Live as well as MiLB.TV. Tickets are available online.

Predator arrested in St. John Fisher College employee case
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a person described as a "Predator" followed and forcibly touched a St. John Fisher College employee and has been arrested; a linked 13WHAM report outlines additional allegations, including a bus stop incident, lewd acts, public lewdness, stalking and exposing oneself at locations in Pittsford, Syracuse, Rochester and Fairport Road.

Buffalo mayor cites $600 million in lost revenue, vows fixes
Buffalo Mayor Sean M. Ryan said that while Syracuse, Rochester and Yonkers invested in their futures, Buffalo’s tax levy stayed flat and below 2007 levels for more than a decade, costing the city more than $600 million in lost revenue that could have funded streets, infrastructure and services, a consequence he attributed to egregious fiscal mismanagement by previous administrations and that he said must be corrected today.
