Scranton and Wilkes-Barre first responders will face off on the ice for the first annual Battle of the Badges Hockey event on Valentine’s Day. The event will be held at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Gates for the first responders game open at 12 p.m. for a contest scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. In addition, a second game featuring the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins versus the Syracuse Crunch begins at 6:05 p.m. with gates opening at 5 p.m.

Admission for the event is $30 and provides access to both games. Large groups are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance, and no deposit is required. Predator arrested in St. John Fisher College employee case

Buffalo mayor cites $600 million in lost revenue, vows fixes
