Geneva Library Unveils Exciting Summer Reading Program
The Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY, has announced its Summer Reading Program with a wide range of activities designed for children and teens. The program includes events for all age groups, from toddlers to teens.
The schedule features a variety of family and age-specific activities. For example, a Mess Festival is planned for Thursday, July 13 at 6:30 PM for all ages, and a Kids Cooking Class is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19 for students in grades 2 to 5. There will also be Messy Story Hour and Rainbow Readers Story Time every Monday at 10 AM for children in grades K to 5.
Additional events include the Butterfly Walk Through and a Glow in the Dark Foam Party on Tuesday, July 25 under the Color Our World theme. The program also offers activities such as the Seaside Spa on Wednesday, July 19 at 2 PM and Teen Art Farm Party for grades 6 to 12.
Other listed events include Micro-organisms & You on Tuesday, July 18 at 5:30 PM for grades K to 8, Firefighter Tales on Tuesday, July 18 at 1:30 PM, and Spine Straightening Tales on Thursday, July 27. The Rose Hill Art Project is set for July 29, followed by an event with David E. Sattin on August 8.
A Library Ghost Hunt is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15 at 3 PM for students in grades 6 to 10, and a Pizza Taste-Off for grades 6 to 12 is planned for Friday, August 15 at 2 PM. Other activities include Batty Adventures, Survival Stories on Tuesday, August 15 at 2 PM, Bedtime Yoga on Friday, July 21 at 5:30 PM, and an event called Kids' Self Defense.
